- Manure Spreader Calibration
Spring 2009
Proper calibration of your manure spreader is necessary to avoid
over or under application, and can pay dividends if done
correctly. At your request, staff will make onsite visits
to calibrate manure spreaders and can also give you pointers on
how to maximize your efforts.
- Well Water Testing Clinic
Annually in late August
Test your well for Nitrates, e. coli, and coliform bacteria, the
most common well contaminates. Through this program, the
SWCD provides reduced cost water testing to residents of Lake of
the Woods County.
- Shoreland Buffer Planting Workshop
Spring/Summer 2008
Shoreline buffers are a great way to beautify your shoreland,
while protecting the environment. If you would like to
volunteer to host a workshop, please contact the SWCD.
